Found this thread, and thought I'd chime in...

I received my Gepetto VV last week. I selected the Walnut wood, with Teak stain.







I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone, there are a LOT of wood box mods already available. RedSkyMods... Phidius...Reo's... Monkey Boxes...

So, what stood out with the Gepetto VV, over all the other wood box mods currently available to me?

Two things. 1st, the electronics are outstanding! Think "ProVari electronic controls" in a wood mod!

2nd... the Gepetto VV is carved from a single block of wood! NO miter joints, NO glue holding different pieces of wood together. This device is solid!

What I wasn't sure about is battery life. I've found that, using the 18350 AW IMR's, I get 17 hours of battery life from a SINGLE charge! Amazing! I also purchased the 16340's (couldn't find the AW 18350's at first). I get around 11 hours with those from a full charge... still not too bad!

Don't want this to get too long, but suffice it to say, the Gepetto VV is an outstanding device!
