IVC Supporting Suppliers

Postby mama » September 24th, 2010, 9:00 pm

We wanted to announce to the IVC membership that we have offered eight supporting supplier spots of which five have accepted so far. They are (in alphabetical order):

Blue Mist Vaping
Clouds of Vapor
E-Liquid Planet
nHaler
Nite Lite Vapor

Supporting suppliers will be able to sponsor IVC contests, so that we can bring you even more contests in the near future!! :ups:

Please give them a welcome like only IVC members can!! :ty:

We also would like to encourage y'all to support these suppliers, as they are helping to ensure that IVC hangs around a bit longer! :yipi:

Whast are the requirements a supplier must meet to be an IVC Supporting Supplier. While the current list is pretty good, there has been some discussion on other forums about the business practices of a few. Not trying to stir up the pot, only seeking some clarification. Thanks.

The requirements are pretty standard. There are rules to be followed here. We would like to know what supplier you feel is using questionable business practices?

There may be suppliers that have forum personality issues that are a detriment to their own business but has nothing to do with how they operate their business. If we are talking about insanely stupid business decisions, well, most people are entitled to a few mistakes and shouldn't be tarred and feathered until it becomes the norm. If you have some information that would put a suppliers ethics up for evaluation we would like to hear it (via PM). Discussions about suppliers on any other forums are not our concern, their presence here is our concern.

Let us flip this back to you. What are the standards? You do no point us to those requirements. While I am not here to stir up the pot, I also do not want to think such 'rules' are made up as you go. Some clarification would be appreciated.

Based on IVC standards, one who is better informed can more intellignetly determine if the suporting suppliers are a good fit for this community. If you do not want forum members to challenge these 'standards', then don't mention that they exist.

We have been clear about the rules since the forum opened, they have been up on the forum since the beginning

I am not one to determine if a supplier is fit for this community or not. We feel that we have a pretty good set of basic rules already in place. If a supplier comes here and breaks the rules or continues to break the rules it will be reviewed by the admins.
