EDIT; also, I love the use of a QR code for your avatar there.
Thanks slick! So far beta testing seems to be going quite well. Cant imagine any problems based on what i've seen so far. We only ordered 5 sets to start our beta test, so when they do go up on the site, they might be gone pretty quick! And if thats the case, we'll work on ordering more as fast as we can.
Wifey does website design for a living, so getting stuff(including avatars) designed the way i like it is just one of the many perks I get!

I hate to bring this up but I do so only because I'd like to buy one but I've been waiting for metal endcaps. There's been a lot of discussion about whether or not aluminum in contact with e-liquid is a good thing or not. I was hoping they would be anodized. Am I crazy to worry about this?

hey pete, we are still in the process of beta testing/researching and looking into costs of anodizing. Once we know more, we'll post back as soon as possible!

Many people asked me to start offering aluminum caps. So I ordered a small set. Then I started to research aluminum and so far I'm not liking what I'm seeing. All aluminum will oxidize and degrade over time. Anodizing does not last forever. SAFETY is a big concern for me and my customers(after all isn't that why we are vaping instead of smoking?). I take a lot of pride knowing that my pyrex tanks do not react to different chemical make-ups and do not change the flavors of the juice(no plastic or metal taste). Why would I want to introduce a product to the equation which calls into question everything that I've worked so hard to achieve?
Surgical Stainless Steel on the other hand appears to be a different animal. If people want metal caps(and i must say they do look good on our tanks) i just might have to forget aluminum altogether and go with the more expensive Stainless. Delrin caps will always still be available and are an excellent choice. But for those wanting an upgrade, and still wanting that peice of mind that they are safe(safer?) Stainless just might be the way that I go. The only one I can see offering stainless caps are priced just over 30 bucks. So, getting in well under that price point is going big for me. After all, I already have one of the more expensive tanks on the market(not much i can do about that with the prices of running my oven at well over 1000 degrees and running all my torches). Even If I have to sell the stainless at my cost I would consider doing so, that's how much I'm starting to not like aluminum after everything I've read. Sorry to ramble on here, but the end result is if you want metal caps, it appears your just going to have to wait till i get stainless.

Wise decision. I'll pay more for stainless steel!

And just to one up ourselves, we will be sand blasting designs in them as well!!!

Well, I did it. I bit the bullet and ordered one.

I don't mind the delrin, so long as there will be a replacement cap that can be purchased and will fit this baby later. Truth be known, thing will probably break before I can get SS caps.

Yeah, I am THAT clumsy.

Did you get a sand blasted one mama? They look so freakin' sweet! I'm tempted to order one but I'm so used to using the fill ports I add to the tubes and, obviously, I couldn't add one to these. I might break down and get one anyway.

lol.. I watched the video on how to fill and these fill through the bottom. It looked pretty easy actually. After Mama's talk of glass straws and how wonderful it makes her tea taste... I'm so tempted by glass. Waiting for her to let us know how it is.
I think she ordered plain glass but I saw one with a peace sign lolol. It's calling me
