Mine seems to stay pretty consistent each time. I see Comcast is offering 50mbps speeds now Maybe I should sign up

what are you guys using to get these high speeds and how much does it cost? will it make a difference if i plug the modem directly into the lap top instead of connecting via wireless to a router attached to the modem?

Tyb, it's not going to increase it by any degree that you'd notice. If you look at each of the speedtests posted it tells you which ISP they're using on the bottom. That's what's going to make the difference

Just wanted to say, I got a tank on Friday with results like these.



Wonder if the pathetic readings are because I'm not using a PC, but a Mac. It sure seems to send PM's very fast.

maybe the speed doesn't have as much of an effect when the whole thread is hitting f5 and all of ecf gets bogged down

I agree Tiff, I don't think this speed test matters when it comes sale time...ECF servers just can't handle the load we put on it at sale time and it all just depends on when their server actually lets your PM through. I was having no issues at all till right before sale time...no tank again.

This might explain why I can't get a pm in quick enough. And this wasn't even done on a sale night. I'm going to have to try to improve this somehow.
