While I totally agree that ecigs should be left alone by the powers that be, I have to disagree about banning analogs. It's hard to say "f-bomb the smokers" seeing as how we all used to be one. Welcome to IVC!

i personally think that vaping should be legal...completely but you can't actually totally ban analogs. if we are wanting them to be the "same" category then one can't be banned without the other.

hehe, fixed your title Matt!

I agree vaping should be legal but I don't want to become an anti-Nazi!! I was one of those smokers so I would continue to support their right to smoke....or vape!! Course, I'd rather see people vape lol :)

I'm not sure if you're talking about banning the sale of cigarettes or banning smoking in public places, but I'm against either one. Seems to me that we're becoming frighteningly comfortable with the government taking our rights away. Personally, I don't see why restaurant and bar owners can't make the decision as to whether or not to allow smoking on their property . . . and customers can vote with their feet and their dollars.

And this is coming from a former 30+ year, 2+ pack-a-day smoker. :)

I am with Julie on this one. It is so easy, as a vaper, to say, yea, to hell with those dirty smokers. But we should be careful before we throw them onto (or under) the bus, because we, as vapers, might just get crammed onto that bus with them. Just remember that the antis and the largely uneducated public sees no difference between vaping and smoking. It is a matter of perception and not reality but do not underestimate the power of perception.

I'm pro-smoker's rights. Hell, I'm Pro- Rights, period. The governments only job should be to keep our borders safe from foreign attack. Common sense will sort the rest out.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. - Thomas Jefferson
