Belgian Waffle by http://bluemistvaping.com/
I received an extra in the mail with my order labeled "Belgian Waffle" and was told by Kelly from BlueMist that it is an experiemental flavor and, at the time of this writing, it is not available yet for sale on their site. The recipe could be subject to change.
This juice is mixed at 15% flavor, 100mg nic juice (VG/Alc.), PG and the rest is outlined below:
The Look
First thing to note right off is that this juice is almost completely clear. It has only a slight yellowish tinge to it. I have come to the understanding that it includes no maple flavor (therefore no dark brown color like in other waffle juices) in it at all. Understand right off the bat that this is definitely not a bad thing.
The Smell
It smells like surup. Sweet, sugary, surup with maybe a hint of buttery flavor to it. I got some on my hands and had the pleasure of enjoying the smell of waffles all day long. My wife even commented on how nice it smelled and I'm pretty sure it had something to do with our craving and subsequent satiation of a waffle breakfast the next morning.
The Taste
For this I'm using Nuck's Fistpack with a fresh 901 atomizer at 4.2v.
First toot I instantly taste Rath's waffle and not much else. Second draw, I start noticing something a little different about this juice. It's definitely a lighter sweetness than rath's heavy, sweet, maple, butter flavor. The lack of maple is not that noticble on either the first or second toot but without the maple, it produces a lighter, sweet buttery flavor. The third draw is where I can start to draw more of an understanding of what this juice is all about. I notice that the lack of maple causes this to be a very light feeling vape. With rath's waffle, I liken it to a surup soaked waffle with dabs of butter on it whereas this seems like a fresh, airy (read: puffy pastry like), sweet, very slightly buttery flavor. Definitely not too heavy on the sweet/maple, but rather just a perfect amount of it for a waffle fresh out of the iron with a light glazing of surup before it's had a chance to soak in. I even catch hints of vanilla and can envision the smell of a freshly cooked belgian waffle coming out of the waffle iron when I vape this.
At 5v, I notice more of a buttery flavor and the sweetness is a little bit more subdued. I'm kinda on the fence about which I prefer more.
Conclusion
I really enjoyed this juice and will be making more of it. It's a little too sweet for an all day vape but if you want a juice that really fills a void after Rath's waffle has become too heavy (and gunks up my atomizers something fierce) for you, this is an excellent choice. I've been vaping on this for about two days on this same atomizer for hours at a time and it doesn't have even a hint of burning gunk building up on it.
I give this juice a definite... uh, yellow smiley giving a thumbs up
until I can make a better image for it.Thanks BlueMist for making a great waffle flavor and thanks to Raenon and Kelly for throwing this in at the last minute for me to try out.
