lol.. I've been trying vaping since March of 2009 but the first devices were junk so I still smoked while a tried a few junky ecigs. Something told me there must be something better so I kept looking until I found a good device. Quit smoking in July 2009, the day I got a good device, the Trog Screwdriver. Back in the day...it was a FANTASTIC mod! Today...it's a bit outdated lolol.
Man... I bought a TON of mods but honestly... got rid of most of them. I only kept a few that were sentimental, one-off's, etc. besides my daily driver.
Currently I use a Darwin, have the Brother batteries. I also have a Fistpack made by Nuck, a vaper who isn't making them any longer (sentimental). I have an original Woody (sentimental also). I also have a nice wooden e-pipe that is really more for coffee table art. Any devices that were worthy of use were either given away or sold. I had the ProVari's as well but gave my sister one and sold the other. She's over 2yrs smoke free now too thanks to ecigs.
When I first started those eGo's/Brother/Riva batteries weren't invented yet. Batteries lasted an hour or two if you were lucky. There was no such thing as a drip tip and places to get liquid were slim. There were NO LR atomizers. Slim pickings I swear. It's so much better nowadays. I feel like that old person saying "in my day we walked 10 miles to school, barefoot and in snow" ROFL!!!
If I were starting out today... I'm sure I'd have been able to quit with an eGo..or the Brother battys which I like A LOT. Back then.. no such animal.
Back in the day I bought Trog Screwdrivers (what got me off cigs), a Little Chuck, Janty Kissbox, Xhalers, the list goes on man.. I couldn't even list them all I bought so many. I will say the ones that worked did get passed along to other smokers so I brought some folks along with me on my transition to vaping.
