I'm going to be load testing and debugging the server today to make sure it can hold up to tonight's sale.

If you notice the server goes offline or anything untowards happens, just know that I'm right here and I'm purposely causing the issue. :)

Just a heads up! These load tests are testing tens of thousands of requests per second, far more than the sale should ...

There have been several complaints about the posting of supposedly private PM's and emails on the forum lately and in light of events, I think it would be a good idea to post an official stance on this issue for the forum and to address a change in our forum rules.

Effective immediately, and retroactively covering any currently open threads, we are striking rule #7 from our forum.

I've removed the verification in the Lavacorps forum that makes you check your message if someone posted since you first started typing a response.

The other forums still have this 'feature' turned on, but if anyone else wants it off, PM me and I'll get it turned off in there, as well.

I'm going to need to take the server and all services offline for a short period of time to do some upgrades and fix several issues that have come up over the past couple months.
