VAPESTOCK 2012 EXPERIENCE

Postby purplehaze » June 11th, 2012, 2:52 pm

I wanted to post My experience of my first event as I have never seen a post about one.
I was surprised walked in the door and saw hundreds of juice bottles on the tables, vendors walking up to me just to give me juices to try.Talking to people and having them hand me their PV's to try. That was an experience in itself let me tell you LOL.The woman vape HUGE volts cough cough...WOW.

The vendors are fun and even entertaining. Not one vendor seemed like they were tired of explaining the same thing a thousand times. You know how it is these days when you go to a store to buy something if the person even knows anything about what they are selling they are short and seem like your wasting their time.NOT HERE..It seemed like an earlier time when people cared about what they were selling you..Very cool..

The people that attended this event were very nice. You know when you go to an event like a wedding or go to the bar and are uncertain when you sit at a table of people you dont know.Thats not the case here.Every one has questions and answers and treat you like you live on their street. A lot if hi's and smiles.Even exuse me was often heard when someone walks in front of you.I dont know, color me crazy but I dont see this behavior often any more.Oh and I have to mention the age group. They wasn't any..LOL,

O.K. Now here is what surprised me the most.First of all this event was free.when I walked in was I was asked to sign in and was given raffle tickets.A few hours later on the screen in the front of the room popped up numbers with a prize next to it.people were peering at the screen in hopes to find their numbers.Me included. And these are not some cheesy prizes..Everything from gift certificates to 150.00 mods were given. And LOT OF THEM.I'm not talking ten winners here.As a matter of fact the prizes that were not claimed by people that left early were were renumbered and won by the people at the end of the day.I have to give it to Pete54.He sure made it a lot of fun calling the numbers and people to except prizes..

I hope this helps anyone that was wondering about the vape events and I want to thank every one that created this event and the people who attended..It was a GREAT TIME and I sure hope it was successful..I am already waiting for the next VAPESTOCK...

It was a real pleasure meeting you PH. It's funny but you know how when you finally meet someone, they are not at all what you expected? Well for some reason you were exactly what I expected and I mean that in a very good way. Another thing I noticed is that, as some of you know, the vaping community has had it's inter-"group" squabbles that have resulted in drama but I saw none of that at Vapestock. It was a complete cross section of the entire community and all the drama and petty forum arguments were non-existent. It truly was about Love, Peace and Vaping. Once again, great job Dereck and Laurel!
